Green Paradise & Resort
Alcacer Do Sal, Portugal
Urbanism
Project Description:
Green Paradise & Resort was conceived as a large-scale urban master plan that transforms a natural enclave in Alcácer do Sal into a leading residential and tourist destination. The project combines architecture, leisure, and nature in a proposal that focuses on sustainability, functional diversity, and quality of life.
A territorial structure was designed that combines entertainment areas—lakes, swimming pools, equestrian facilities, golf courses, and walking trails—with three types of residential areas: townhouses, single-family homes, and villas. Each type responds to different lifestyles and housing needs, maintaining aesthetic coherence and landscape integration that reinforces the identity of the complex.
The master plan also incorporates a high-end hotel complex, conceived as a hub for tourism and a meeting point for residents and visitors. The layout of the buildings was designed to respect the topography, ecological corridors, and natural views, favoring privacy, solar orientation, and visual connection with the surroundings.
Internal mobility was resolved through pedestrian walkways, bike paths, and controlled access, prioritizing low traffic density and the landscape experience. The infrastructure was designed with energy efficiency, water management, and low environmental impact criteria, consolidating a model of responsible and resilient urban planning.
With this intervention, Green Paradise & Resort positions itself as a new benchmark on the Portuguese coast: an enclave where architecture, leisure, and nature coexist in harmony, offering a contemporary, healthy living experience connected to the environment.
